We Have A Discord Server!

It has always been the goal of MSDS to foster a community. We’ve struggled to find the right tool for that.

Last week we launched the school’s Discord Server. You can join the server here.

The school community is open to everyone. We have channels dedicated to the students of our courses, but there are more general channels where people can discuss a wide variety of topics related to data.

As of this writing there are channels dedicated to:

Data science

Data engineering

Data visualization

Python

SQL

You can use the server to ask coding questions, network with industry professionals, or just hang out with other like-minded people.

In the future we look to leverage the power of discord to further eliminate barriers to education. We’re not sure what that looks like yet, but you can be assured that we’ll push the boundaries just like normal. Hope to see you on the server!
